Two-channel HD Video, 04:41, 2017
In this two-channel video, a city landscape (left) and a cemetery (right) switches from day to night. The two sets of photo sequences were taken from Mt. Bai Yun and Xin Tang Cemetery in Guangzhou, China separately. Mt. Bai Yun is a tourist attraction where people can see urban sceneries of Guangzhou on the top of the mountain, while Xin Tang cemetery is built on a mountain with huge numbers of tombs. The panorama of these two places are found to be similar from a specific perspective, presenting as habitats for the living and the dead separately.
